L. C. Lee & Associates, Inc. (LCLA) is an environmental consulting firm specializing in the assessment, management, protection, and restoration of the of river, wetland, and forested ecosystems and the landscapes in which they occur. Our overall goal is to achieve cost effective, practical, and timely land and resource based results. We have particular expertise in river and wetland science, forest ecosystems ecology, ecosystem restoration design and construction, expert testimony, and dispute resolution in the context of large and complex regulatory environments. The company has been based in western Washington (Seattle/Bellingham) since 1990. Our client base is nationwide. LCLA is qualified as a Minority/Women Owned business under Washington State guidelines. Our clients include private individuals, large and small private corporations, other consulting, architectural and engineering firms, public agencies, and non-profit organizations.

LCLA staff scientists have been actively involved in the permitting, design, construction, and monitoring phases of river, wetland, and forest restoration and construction projects for over thirty years. The firm's experience encompasses a wide variety of design issues on many different sites, scales, and classes of river/wetland/riparian areas throughout the U.S.A. and abroad. Our technical teams have deep knowledge and experience in ecological and environmental sciences, federal, state, and local agency policies and regulations, landscape architecture, and resolution of disputes in complex regulatory environments. This combination of training and experience allows us to assess and understand the way ecosystems function and respond to impacts, to effectively address all regulatory issues and requirements, and to provide the design, construction, and monitoring services needed to meet project objectives.
